FIDDLER ON THE ROOF
SEPTEMBER 2019

Fiddler on the Roof is a musical set in the Pale of Settlement of Imperial Russia in 1905. It is based on Tevye and his Daughters (or Tevye the Dairyman) and other tales by Sholem Aleichem. The story centers on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his Jewish religious and cultural traditions as outside influences encroach upon the family's lives. He must cope both with the strong-willed actions of his three older daughters, who wish to marry for love – each one's choice of a husband moves further away from the customs of their Jewish faith and heritage – and with the edict of the Tsar that evicts the Jews from their village.

THE LITTLE MERMAID
NOVEMBER 2019

Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. Ariel, King Triton's youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above, bargaining with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea. This fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World."

SHE MOVES: a Tyrone wells dance experience
january 2020

Tyrone Wells has built an impressive body of work, releasing two major label albums and eight independent records. Over the course of his career, Tyrone has built a devoted international following with his powerful voice, vulnerable heart and personal story telling, making the audience feel like they are hanging out in his living room. As Tyrone Wells has grown and evolved over the years, one thing has never changed-his passion for loving people and bringing a message of hope and healing to a world that needs it more than ever. Annie Lavin will set her inventive choreography to the music of Tyrone Wells for another Theater Guild dance experience.
